Great News!

We have received funding to pay two part-time tutors! The positions will be 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. The first two will be for the pre-GED program. All materials and training will be provided by Artesia Literacy Council. This will also greatly expand our ability to prepare students for a better life.

Tutors must be motivated and concerned about helping their students improve their lives by obtaining the GED. Even though it will now be a paid position, it will never be just a job!

We will add tutors to the program as additional funding becomes available.

We still would love volunteers! They could work 1 - 2 hours a day, 1 - 2 days a week.

I will warn you! Once you start, it's hard to stop!
